Sweet Maggie has had a very rough road and is in need of a special person. She was brought to us by a good Samaritan who found her. severely injured and hiding. She had been attacked by a larger dog; We had her wounds treated and placed her in foster care only to discover she was also pregnant. After 4 long months she has now fully healed from her injuries and weaned the pups. They are placed and she is learning to be a dog that trusts humans. She loves to be held, once you have her, but she likes to hide in her safe space.  Maggie will blossom at her own pace and needs a safe, loving environment for that to happen. We feel that young children would be too scary for her at this time.
