We refer to Mae as "Momma Mae." She came to us with three puppies, who have already found their forever homes. Now it's Mae's turn to find a loving home that she can call her own.

Mae is what we call a "throwaway'" dog. She was owned by a family that never bothered to give her a name; they just allowed her to keep being bred and adding to the overpopulation problem in the area. Thankfully we were able to rescue her and get her spayed.

Mae has such a wonderful, outgoing personality. She is always happy to see people, wagging her tail so much that her entire little body just shakes with excitement!  She loves playing with other dogs in her foster home and would easily fit into a multiple dog household.  Mae is such a loving dog, that after she weened her puppies she filled in as a surrogate mom for a young puppy that was unsure and needed comforting.  She would make the perfect companion as she is not a barker and just wants to be loved.
